If you have been thinking about starting an entrepreneurial journey, and starting your own business… this post is for you!
Whether it’s a photography business, an Etsy store, e-commerce, selling courses, or anything in-between. I’m here to tell you there’s room for you. You just need to start.
Just Start
First things first, you have to start.
You have to be willing to put yourself out there, try new things, not be afraid of failure, be willing to learn, and be committed to pursuing your goals and dreams.
When you first start out, there will be mistakes. Lots of them. But that’s okay. It’s all part of the process.
There’s only two things I want you to focus on-
First, learn from those mistakes.
Secondly, don’t let them stop you.
We all have our mistakes, but what’s important is your resilience to bouncing back from setbacks.
Learn from them, note to not make that mistake again, and move on. That mistake was a little blessing in disguise. You grew from it. Just remember that.
Starting is the hardest part. So get yourself moving in the right direction.
No One Can Do What You Do, And How You Do It
This is one that took me awhile to learn myself, I’m not going to lie. But this is such an important lesson for every entrepreneur to learn.
And the reason why this is so important is because in this day and age, most markets are heavily saturated with competition. And there’s one thing that in every situation that makes you different from everyone else. And that’s your you factor.
There’s only one YOU on this earth. No one problem solves, creates, edits, thinks like you do. So use that to your advantage.
It’s Hard Work
I know I know. I can hear you already… no shit Jen.
But it has to be said.
Being your own boss is HARD, HARD work. It isn’t for the faint of heart, and if you want to be successful, you HAVE TO put in the work.
Weekly I post to Instagram, Facebook, Pinterest, TikTok, my Story, YouTube, and my blog on my website. There is a lot of work to be done, formats you have to consider between photos and videos, strategies to implement on each platform, but trust me, once you start seeing the growth, it’s all worth it.
Final Thoughts
An important lesson life has taught me is knowing there’s room for everyone’s success in this world. That everyone can grow together, and there really isn’t any other competition out there besides yourself.
Yes, there are tons of other artists out there doing similar things to you, but they aren’t YOU. 😘
They don’t think like you, they don’t have the same work ethic as you, they don’t post the same content as you.
✨You are you. ✨ It’s such an undervalued fact.
When you share your journey, you will inspire, motivate, and teach others to follow a similar, but unique path of their own. I hope I can be that person for other entrepreneurs that are trying like hell to pursue their own dreams ❤️
